Powernet is the workhorse of shapewear, and we keep it on the floor by the roll. Spandex American Fabrics is Cherechian Trading Co, a family business trading fabric since 1960. Two generations on, we are still family-owned and still run from the warehouse floor.

Powernet is a strong compression net built for hold. It is what goes into shapewear, control panels, and foundation garments where the fabric has to pull in and stay put. Alongside it we carry techsheen, a sleek high-gloss competition knit, and high-compression blends for the pieces that need maximum hold. For braces and supports, our medical-grade compression knits do the same job on the body.

All of it is American-made spandex and specialty stretch, the kind of quality small and mid-size manufacturers reorder for years. We sell by the roll or by the pound, and we ship container loads for volume orders. Our focus is domestic, and we work with international buyers every day.
