Buying by the pound is one of the oldest ways we sell, and it is still the best value on our floor. Spandex American Fabrics is Cherechian Trading Co, a family business trading fabric since 1960. Two generations on, we are still family-owned and still run from the warehouse floor.
Pound goods are rolls, ends, and overruns priced by weight instead of by the yard. You get American-made spandex and stretch fabric for less, because you are buying it the way the trade has always moved short lots. What comes in changes week to week, so the mix on the floor is never the same twice.
We sell by the roll or by the pound, and we ship container loads for volume orders. Our focus is domestic, American-made goods for the home market, and we work with international buyers every day.
